So that people and animals
can live safely everyday.

When we notice something unusual about our beloved family members who cannot speak,
we as pet owners are overwhelmed with anxiety, confusion, and various other emotions. These feelings quietly but surely convey to our animals. At Animal Hospital Naha, our mission is to alleviate the suffering of animals and ease the anxiety of their owners. We believe that this will help all family members spend a little more time together happily.

What we value

Dogs and cats are very sensitive to their owners’ anxiety and tension. The owner’s peace of mind directly translates into the animal’s peace of mind. That is why we place great importance on communicating with owners during examinations and strive to help them relax.

No matter how much care we take, unfortunately, the hospital is not a place where animals feel at ease.
That is why we have introduced a reservation priority system at our hospital to reduce waiting times as much as possible and allow you to return to your beloved home as soon as possible.

In order to provide appropriate treatment for animals that cannot speak, information about their behavior at home is often an important clue.
Therefore, we ask that those who care for the animal on a daily basis accompany us to the hospital as much as possible.

“I want to actively pursue treatment” vs. “I want to let nature take its course.” Even with the same illness, the approach to treatment can vary greatly depending on the owner’s perspective and values. I aim to respect the owner’s values within the bounds of what is best for the animal, finding a balance that works for both, and working together to find the optimal treatment method.

What I aim for in such a relationship is not a detached, routine examination, but a medical approach that shares in the owner’s anxiety, rejoices in recovery together, and sheds tears at parting—a medical approach that shares in the full range of human emotions.

Please hand your consultation card to the receptionist.
If you are a new patient, please inform the receptionist. You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire.

Medical examination, testing, and treatment

We will ask you about your detailed symptoms and when they first appeared.
We will propose tests and treatments based on the information you provide.

Payment and prescription of medicine

We also provide prescriptions for medication at the time of payment.
We accept cash (yen only), credit cards, and various types of electronic money.
*We do not accept payments in dollars.
